Will Voorhees

Will Voorhees recently joined Coinbase as Senior Director of CX and Compliance Operations, where he is focused on strengthening operational health and reducing client friction across the platform.
He brings over two decades of leadership in financial crime compliance and fraud operations, most recently serving as an AML Executive at Bank of America. Prior to that, he led Fraud and AML Operations at Truist Bank, and earlier served as BSA Officer, Head of High-Risk Businesses, and Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) at SVB Financial Group. At SVB, Will worked extensively with crypto, emerging technologies, and non-traditional payment platforms, gaining firsthand exposure to some of the most innovative sectors in financial services.
A Gulf War veteran and former police officer, Will holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting and maintains professional certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He is also an active contributor to the anti-financial crime community, serving on the speaker faculty for ACAMS conferences and learning programs.
